Check the Safety Sensors
Look near the bottom of your garage door tracks. If the sensors are misaligned, dirty, or damaged, your opener won’t allow the door to close. Make sure both sensors are facing each other and the lights on them are solid (not blinking).Inspect the Emergency Release
That red cord hanging from the opener rail is the emergency release. Pulling it disconnects the opener from the door. If the door moves freely by hand, your trolley may be stuck in the open position and needs to be reset.Test the Wall Button vs. Remote Control
